Restaurant General Manager

Work it like only you know how, you commercial connoisseur. Whether it’s taking a profitable restaurant to even greater greatness or turning around one that’s in need of a little love, you’ll be the leader for the job. You’ll take a commercial challenge, dribble it through the obstacles, flip it up onto your finger and spin it like a pro then shoot it into the back of the net. Guest attraction strategies – boom! Dissecting performance figures – kapow! Spotting new ideas a mile off – whoosh!

You’re going to build a permanent pizza party like no other. Happy guests, bags of fun and the best team in the industry. So you’ll already need to have steered a business to glory – probably in the food sector. And, like all the best leaders, you’ll be a person of the people. Serious supporter of talent. Someone who builds the kind of culture where people love to work and deliver the best every day. An enabler of excellence. Even when the challenges come thick and fast.

Become a Shift Manager!

Talk about leadership and people skills! After this 12-to-18-month Apprenticeship, learning what it means to have managerial greatness, every guest that comes in your restaurant will feel like they’ve had an hour-long group hug by the time they leave. Because that’s some serious skill you already have there – not many people could motivate our Guest Servers to put every ounce of positive energy they have into every single moment. Only someone with real love for the Hut. Passion for pizza. Gusto for the guest experience.

Same goes for the kitchen team – they have to be hotter than molten mozzarella – and it’ll be your job to make sure they are. Hands-off management style? No way! We want you in the thick of it, driving sales and controlling costs to send our profits soaring. So wear that managerial title like a badge of honour. Because this is just the first step into your soon-to-be-legendary leadership career. All the support you’ll need. Learning on-the-job, online and in the classroom. Assessments galore. Become a Deputy Manager!

Hope you’ve got a strong back, because that’s some serious weight of responsibility you’re gonna shoulder as the main support to our RGM. But what a supreme challenge. Deputising in their absence, running shifts, getting the team all fired up to deliver the most awesome service in the industry. This is the fast lane to RGM glory. Don’t sit there mulling it over. Be the legend we know you can be. Show us you’ve got what it takes to learn fast, be alert and spot opportunities to make things better. Whether that means getting new team members up to speed with Hut life. Or stepping in to serve guests on those wild Saturday nights.

Hold your horses there, though, you ambitious thing. We love it that you can’t wait to work your way to an RGM role fast. But you’re going to have to show us just what that team management experience you already have has done for you. Big ideas person? Great at turning those ideas into a reality?
