What is an apprenticeship

An Apprenticeship is a real job with training so you can earn while you learn and pick up some nationally recognised Apprenticeship Standards as you go.

What are the advantages of an Apprenticeship?

You learn at your own pace and get support when you need it, you get to complete new and exciting challenges and achieve a nationally recognised Apprenticeship Standard along the way and is a great alternative to traditional study.

What qualification is an apprenticeship equivalent to?

Level 2 Apprenticeship = 5 GCSEs England or Scotland National Level 5.
Level 3 Apprenticeship = 2 A levels in England or Higher National Certificate in Scotland.

How long does my apprenticeship take to complete?

A minimum of 12 months dependent on the qualification you are working towards.

What can i do after my apprenticeship?

Once you have completed your Apprenticeship you can continue to work in your current role on a permanent basis or speak to your Restaurant General Manager about your development plans if you would like to move up the career ladder.

How many hours will I be required to work?

30 hours per week across 7 days.

What can i expect from my apprenticeship?

You will receive full training to do your job, regular meetings to review your progress with your manager, regular meetings with your on programme trainer who will guide you through the Apprenticeship Standard and unlimited access to Pizza Hut development programmes designed to develop the whole you.
